Regionally sourced
We stand for high-quality products of regional origin. Our wood comes from the nearby Austrian forests and is processed by us directly on site. With a PEFC certificate and Austrian Ecolabel, we guarantee you that our wood originates exclusively from sustainable forestry.
Reduced rate of splintering
SZENA products show a reduced rate of splintering and chipping thanks to being rift and quarter sawn. The otherwise frequent warping is practically ruled out thanks to vertical annular rings. There is less twisting and distortion which is common in products with horizontal annular rings.
Dimensionally stable
The finger joints are glued together using a melamine adhesive which, unlike PU glue, does not change colour even when the timber turns grey. This advanced fixing technique automatically provides structural protection for the wood. There are no fibres missing at the knots, as all knots have been removed.
Our systems
Our product range spans sawed products and terraces to façades and interior fittings. The popular Szena terrace and façade products made of larch wood inspire with their special, vibrant character similar to a shingle façade. The alternating boards further enhance this character. Multifloor and multiboard visually stand out due to the large-size planks, and the Alpin Frontal façade series is particularly dimensionally stable and durable. All the products from our range can generally be customised in many different sizes and dimensions.
